Reporting of B-chromosomes in Trachyspermum ammi (L.) Sprague (Ajwain)

РЕЗЮМЕ. Наскільки нам відомо, це перше дослідження стосовно виявлення B-хромосом у цьому виді рослин. Під час мейотичного аналізу Trachyspermum ammi (L.) Sprague було виявлено максимум дві B-хромосоми у диплоїдних рослинах, які були збережені в індукованому аутотетраплоїді після обробки 0,2 % колхіцином у фазі проростання. У даному дослідженні була проаналізована мейотична поведінка B-хромосом в Trachyspermum ammi (L.) Sprague. Наявність B-хромосом та їхня кількість у виді рослин вищого рівня плоїдності є суперечливою. Присутність B-хромосом у поліплоїдах відрізняється в залежності від виду. У даному випадку не спостерігалося жодних змін у кількості B-хромосом, незважаючи на дуплікацію A-хромосом у аутотетраплоїдній рослині. Кількість В-хромосом, яка не зазнала впливу, представляє їхню специфічну поведінку щодо спадкування. Види рослин демонструють механізм адаптації для утримання їх у популяції. У даному дослідженні спостерігалися суттєві зміни (p < 0,05) у частоті хіазми та родючості пилку обох диплоїдних рослин-носіїв порівняно з рослинами, що не були носіями. Більше того, хромосомні асоціації також розглядали у поєднанні з спостережуваною кількістю B-хромосом у аутотетраплоїдній рослині-носії. Що стосується останньої, було виявлено, що частоти полівалентів були досить низькими у порівнянні з диплоїдною рослиною-носієм.
