The existence of correlation between growth rate of the seedling main root and proliferative activity of root apex meristem and the type of radiomodificating effect was established. Radioprotective (radioadaptation) effect was observed at the 5 Gy dose irradiation of the seedlings at the final moment of hypercompensatory phase of the growth reaction on the action of 0,625 мkM CdSO4.
