The population-genetic structure of yellowfin sole inhabiting in northern part of the Sea of Okhotsk has been investigated. Genetic heterogeneity of samples, collected in geographically remote areas of Taui Bay was found. The value of genetic differentiation GST =2,39 % in the investigated samples is a little less than in those of the Bering Sea (GST = 4,25 %, Grant et al., 1983).
