Genome and Plasmon Effects on Expression of the Defeated Genes of Resistance to Brown Rust in Wheat

Main parameters of polygenic resistance to 5 brown rust clones were studied in seedlings of the new series of common wheat alloplasmic lines with defeated resistance genes Lr10 and Lr23. Expression of the defeated genes was revealed to depend on the nuclear and cytoplasmic background of host plant as well as on the gene pool of fungus genotypes.
